August and the holiday season is upon us! For those of you still working, here's an update on the holiday you probably didn't take - the Visual Dataflex Synergy conference in Miami.

Synergy comes to the UK
Mark your diaries- Instead of VDF Sig on October 13th, we have two UK events on October 24th and 25th. One will be an introduction to VDF mainly aimed at our new "Personal Edition" users (but of course all welcome), while the second will be bringing some of the Synergy conference to the UK. The venue is  in the Luton area - chosen to make flying as cheap as it can be, and road transport no worse than most places!

For active VDF developers this will be an essential and not to be missed update on where VDF is and is heading in a time of rapid development.
More in September on this, but to register an early interest, email us any time - enquiries@asckey.com

While these are no substitute for being there, these give some feeling for the subjects discussed. Please note that this is not the whole conference by any means. Some topics not included here we have dealt with in the UK VDF Sig  or in our previous newsletters, and some presentations that may be referred to in these were too much based in live material to be reproduced here. All of which means that you should be coming along in October to really understand the subjects!

Dynamic AI - Carsten Sorensen, Syntac
Two short presentations, one on the upcoming V6, and the other showing Dynamic AI reporting to a PDA. The latter an interesting extension to the world of mobile devices!
